Sea Scope Inc is an organization consecrated to assist all people and provide the resources that will allow for the creation and sustenance of healthy individuals so they continue to reach their various desired and purposed areas in life. This corporation is committed to nurturing the gifts God has given each and every person. The corporation strives to help all people of various ages in the areas of mental health and awareness, as well as self-esteem and self-direction. Additionally, scientific education, marine conservation, and aquatic skills development (swim and scuba diving) amongst underrepresented minorities and disadvantaged youth are a hallmark of Sea Scope programs. Within the sciences, the corporation’s focus is to educate in the specific disciplines of Chemistry, Optics (and other Physics), Physiology, and Environmental Sciences. Also, lies the focus to facilitate building connections towards science careers and other resources that will enhance the conservation of our ocean planet. Further purposes are to provide resources to certify open water scuba divers within the population of those that face systemic barriers to further diversify water sports and prepare those interested in careers in diving. Various concepts of daily living for positive spiritual, mental, and emotional health will be modeled and taught as services are provided.
The corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific, educational, and religious purposes, including for such purposes the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as an exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
